EASE Club´s Impactful Holiday Craft and Vendor Show for Special Needs Students

The EASE Club at Armstrong High School recently organized a Holiday Craft and Vendor Show that impacted both the students involved and the community at large. Under the guidance of their sponsor, Jamie Swingle, and with the support of Guidance Counselor Emily Giconi, the students of the EASE Club showcased their abilities and raised funds for a noble cause.

PHEAA Financial Aid "Jump Start" Information Session

The Armstrong Junior-Senior High School will host a PHEAA Financial Aid "Jump Start" Information Session on March 7 at 6 PM. An overview of the financial aid process for college and other post-secondary options will be discussed. Parents and Guardians of juniors are encouraged to attend this event. Contact the high school guidance office with any questions.

More than 250 Armstrong Junior/Senior High School students have earned a special reputation for their drive to serve and lead through the Armstrong River Hawks Leo Club, a youth service organization sponsored by the Lions Club.

We look forward to another exciting and productive school year at AHS. One of the aims at our school is to equip young people for all the realities of today’s world. With that in mind, we have partnered with CharacterStrong - an organization that provides training for educators and a curriculum for students designed to help support concepts we emphasize in our school like treating each other with respect, and working to our full potential as students and people. Their work in grades 7-12 focuses on 3 main outcomes: increasing a sense of belonging for all students, improving skills that support student well-being, and deepening student engagement in their academics.
