2024 Summer School Application

Students may take up to two courses during summer school, if they have earned a 50% or above in the course that they failed. The cost of summer school is $75 per course. Please click the link above to complete the online application form. DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS 8AM ON JUNE 12TH. *REMINDER* Students must attend the initial in-person orientation meeting at AJSHS on June 17th from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM for login instructions and equipment if needed. The AHS office will accept Cash or money orders at 300 Buffington Drive. Fees must be paid to the office by or before 8:00 AM on the morning of orientation, June 17th.

Sen. Pittman visits ASD

State Senator Joe Pittman Visits AJSHS to Inspire AP U.S. Government Politics Students

Armstrong County's State Senator, Joe Pittman (R-41), recently visited Armstrong Jr. - Sr. High School, which left a lasting impact on the students and staff alike. The visit took place late last year and provided an opportunity for the AP U.S. Government and Politics students to engage with Senator Pittman on a variety of important issues. The visit proved to be an enriching experience, with students showcasing their knowledge and posing well-informed questions to the state senator.

ASD Students Triumph in Quiz Bowl Competition as WSHS Team Place 3rd

The Academic Quiz Bowl program at ASD has once again showcased its exceptional talent and intellectual prowess. This year, the program boasted a total of 24 students who participated in the highly competitive Indiana County Academic League championships. Capturing both the Varsity and JV divisions, the ASD team emerged victorious, bringing home the well-deserved championship.

EASE Club´s Impactful Holiday Craft and Vendor Show for Special Needs Students

The EASE Club at Armstrong High School recently organized a Holiday Craft and Vendor Show that impacted both the students involved and the community at large. Under the guidance of their sponsor, Jamie Swingle, and with the support of Guidance Counselor Emily Giconi, the students of the EASE Club showcased their abilities and raised funds for a noble cause.
