AHS will host a FAFSA Completion Workshop on Tuesday, October 27. A representative from PHEAA will be on-site to assist families with completing the online FAFSA application and to answer any questions. Two one-hour sessions will be offered- 5:00-6:00 and 6:15-7:15. Seating is limited, so please contact the AHS Guidance Department at 724-548-7600 ext. 1825 to reserve a spot.

Please remember that, effective for the 2026-2027 school year, all graduating seniors must either complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) through the U.S. Department of Education OR submit an Opt-Out form prior to high school graduation.

AHS will host a Financial Aid Information Webinar on Tuesday, September 22, at 5:00 PM. A representative from PHEAA will provide an overview of the financial aid process for college and other post-secondary opportunities, as well as important updates regarding financial aid and the FAFSA.

Seniors and their families are encouraged to attend this informative online event to learn more about planning and paying for education after high school.
