College Within the High School (CWHS)

The College Within the High School (CWHS) program allows high school students to earn college credit while completing courses with Armstrong High School faculty.  Students will be enrolled in both the high school and the postsecondary institution. CWHS courses are available through Westmoreland County Community College, Seton Hill University, Mount Aloysius College, and the University of Pittsburgh.  In order to earn college credit, students will need to complete the application process, pay the school rate and earn a passing grade in the course.  Cost per credit is determined by each college/university.   Students should contact the admissions department of the post-secondary school of interest for information on how the CWHS course will transfer.
